Heat 'n Eat

The key to re-heating “dry-rub” ribs is to make sure not to let them dry out. Remember…there is no sauce…only herbs and spices.
Because keeping the ribs moist is a key goal….there are certain things you can do to assure that your ribs will be moist and tender.

1) Cover your ribs while re-heating! Whether you are re-heating in a conventional oven or you are microwaving the ribs…..keep them covered.
2) Place ribs in Pyrex dish for the microwave, cover with top, make sure the top fits.
3) If you are re-heating in a oven, place ribs in your oven-safe dish and cover with aluminum foil. Pinch all edges to make sure it is sealed tight. DON’T POKE HOLES IN THE FOIL TO VENT…
4) Heat for 45-60 minutes at 400 degrees and watch the meat fall off the bone!

I personally recommend that you re-heat the ribs in an oven….Microwaving times vary so much and it cooks so fast, you can easily make a mistake and dry the rib out.

About the Rub

The Dry Rub is made with a combination of over 20 herbs and spices. All spices are commercially available and can be found in most supermarkets around the country. No MSG is used…but the ribs are high in sodium…salt and pork….what a combo!
The exact spices and herbs can be shared upon request. (Don’t ask about portions of each spice, because if I told you that…I’d have to kill you.)
